They just called my CELL PHONE, which only my significan other has the phone number to. It's an automated thing, so I'm figuring it's spam.

keep ringing call tone only lasts 5 or 6 rings then hangs up also the last call was at 12.30 am what a nuisance caller

Used the advice to call the 0800 number listed above. You need to choose the option to change the curfew period and then press 5 and 20 mins later your phone will not accept sms to speech calls. Well done to Juan for publishing this number its a shame BT don't publish it so obviously.

An Indian accent man saying something about they have access to information about the last financial year that I have debt (amounts described in Rupees....... ha??????) debt from loans, store cards, credit card, catalogues, overdraft etc. I allowed him to speak then stated CLEARLY that I have none of the stated & in effect, I have no doubt & have lived my life INTENTIONALLY not getting into debt. He then asked if I was married.....No, live with someone........No, any other person registered at this address...... No......I live alone Thanks!!!! He then very abruptly terminated the call. How does he know the debt I have more so than me????? Another scam, Thank Goodness for caller ID & number blocker.

keep calling me at least 6-7 times a day for the past few weeks they call at ridiculous hours one time i was called at 9.15 pm and when i was fuming down the phone at them they responded by telling me not to REQUEST me calling them at this point i asked to speak to a supervisor and was met with a pretty lengthy silence before they hung up and i was called the following morning again!!!... I have told them to remove me from thier call list and have been ignored.....scum. lowering bills??/ low life scum sure its a scam operation.
