I received a call from this number asking for my mother, unfortunately she has passed away so don’t know where they got the number from. I thought I had missed an important call from Asia but now that I have seen this thank you for easing my mind that it is just anther call centre.

This has called me a few times. Its an indian sounding guy. I guess its a call center, I just hang up. When will they learn ?

They wanted to know if I had a Sky box.

told me they were from microsoft and they had noticed problem with my p.c so wanted me to log on so they could sort the problem.put the phone down on them. thought if it was microsoft they would email

The “Miscrosoft” story was the one I received today too. Not only have I never contacted them, let alone about the problem I was apparently having, and the fact that I would have expected an email response if I had (as Dawn said) I hung up on him.

He seems to be targetting a lot of people claiming to be from telephone companies, Microsoft, and apparently from Sky? I’ll be careful about calls from ‘Sky’ then – thank you James.
