had a call from this number asking if i could was available to take on new work in january 2010 (electrical contractor) the girl who rang was very vague and asked me to call here boss back a steve walsh since he was in a meeting and could i ring him back on 01273878222 to quote for work at what she thought to be there manchester office as i say she was vague about it. I thought it all a bit suspect so googled the number and found this site. To be asked to call someone back like this is unusual and i wonder if you are connected to a premium number

I too got a phone call this afternoon 10th Dec 2009 number being 01273878222 from a girl saying her boss asked to call me to do garden work in Dundee and could I call him.

I even asked where she got my number and she said someone gave it to her boss.

But it sounded a bit suspect to me ,so I was not taken in.

But also very annoyed that there are people like this going around.

Sorry should have said her boss name was Peter King.

Received a call this morning 17th December 2009, from a young lady saying her boss wanted some building work doing in Burton-on-Trent either to his home or commercial premises, and could I ring him between 12-00 and 6-00pm today to discuss exactly what wanted doing. His name Steve Walsh telephone 01273 878222.
No I will not be wasting my time ringing.

4th January 2010, we had received a call from this telephone number asking for some electrical work to be done locally, Burton on Trent, she had not got a clue about what it entailed, asked to ring her boss, Steve Walsh, back later today. Leave well alone, I will not be calling them after reading all these comments

Had a woman with a false cockney accent asking if i would mind her being cheaky and ring her boss later, about some building works.

I have just received a call from this young lady saying she was calling on behalf of her boss who wanted some tiling work done in Edinburgh. I was busy and asked her to phone back in an hour. the 01273 area code for edinburgh didn’t make sense so i googled the number and found this! bloody hell what next! the must be going through yell.com! thanks for your posts.
