I think i got frauded by this number

Following up on a call of congratulations from HSBC bank announcing that my parents had won a competition for a cruise in the Caribbean for up to 4 family members. Where I thought it was strange that the caller from HSBC asked for credit card details before divulging the prize – I have now found out that the company is Calypso Travel, and that they use this SCAM to get you to pay for TAXES on the trip… Upto £598 for 4 people!

I have since found out via web search that this is a typical scam – fortunately my parents had not activated their Credit Card – so perhaps there will be a paper trail for HSBC to close this company or companies down that are using HSBC as their cover.
